Who we are
The Lending Den is operated by 1001060863 Ontario Corp., 2025 Maria Street, Burlington, Ontario L7R 0E9 ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information on thelendingden.com, workshop.thelendingden.com and through our masterclass, programs and community. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and we respect the privacy rights of visitors in the United States.
What we collect
When you register for the masterclass, apply, book a call or take the scorecard, we collect what you type in: your name, email, phone number, where you're licensed, your company and license number if you give them, and your answers. We also record when and where you gave consent. When you visit the site we collect technical information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, the ad or link that brought you here (UTM tags and click IDs like fbclid or gclid), and approximate location from your IP address.
Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies and your browser's local storage to remember how you found us, keep forms working and measure our marketing. Depending on the page, this can include Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity, which may record how you scroll and click (form fields are masked). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as well.
How we use it
We use your information to run the masterclass and send you the link and reminders, follow up about The Lending Den, book and hold strategy calls, deliver our programs, understand which marketing works, keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell your personal information.
Email, calls and texts
If you give consent, we may email, call and text you about the masterclass and The Lending Den. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, reply STOP to any text, or ask us to stop calling. Message and data rates may apply.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include our CRM and booking system (GoHighLevel), website hosting (Vercel), analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta, Microsoft), video hosts (Wistia, YouTube), our online community platform (ROAM) and payment processors. If you ask about hiring help through LendMate, our related remote talent company, we share what's needed to help with that request. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it's stored
Our service providers may store and process information in Canada, the United States or other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, then delete or anonymize it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
